Prepared for SECRETORACLE
1. Soy Wax
Characteristics: Soy wax is a natural plant wax derived from soybean oil, with a melting point of approximately 46~58°C.
Pros:
✔ Burns 30%-50% longer than paraffin wax.
✔ No black smoke, no carcinogens, environmentally friendly and clean burning.
✔ Minimal residue after burning, more cost-effective than other waxes.
Cons:
✘ High temperatures can cause oil to leak, resulting in an uneven wax surface, wax pits, and white spots.

2. Beeswax
Characteristics: Beeswax is derived from the wax secreted by bees, with a melting point of about 62~67°C.
Pros:
✔ Purifies the air while burning, with a subtle honey scent.
✔ Long burn time, stable burning, and smooth wax surface.
✔ Can be blended with soy wax to increase hardness.
Cons:
✘ Relatively high cost, prone to oil leakage in summer, and cup detachment in winter.

Coconut wax
Characteristics: Coconut wax is a plant wax derived from coconut oil, with a melting point of approximately 45°C.
Pros:
✔ Burns cleanly without smoke, smooth wax surface, great for shaping.
✔ Less likely to detach from the container, with good fragrance throw.
Cons:
✘ Higher cost, melts at high temperatures, and its transparency is lower than paraffin wax.

Palm Wax
Characteristics: Palm wax is derived from the leaves and fruits of the palm tree, with a melting point of approximately 58~65°C..
Pros:
✔ High hardness and gloss, biodegradable and non-toxic.
✔ Stable burning, good fragrance throw.
Cons:
✘ Relatively expensive, production may impact the environment.
✘ Crystallization may occur at high temperatures, and it can become brittle after solidification.

Paraffin Wax
Characteristics: Paraffin wax is a petroleum-derived product, widely used in candle making, with a melting point ranging from 48~64°C.
Pros:
✔ Low cost, smooth surface, stable burning, high transparency.
✔ Easy to shape, good coloring effect, and strong fragrance throw.
Cons:
✘ Can release black smoke and carcinogens during burning, especially with unrefined paraffin wax.

Gel Wax
Characteristics: Also known as crystal wax or gel wax, with a melting point around 70~90°C.
Pros:
✔ High transparency, great for creating unique shapes and designs.
✔ Excellent coloring effect, strong decorative properties.
Cons:
✘ High cost, fragrance throw is generally weak, and it melts easily at high temperatures.
